The One Minutes Series of October is called Create Characters and is curated by Egill Sæbjörnsson. For this series, he invited artists to transform themselves, to become someone else, to become their true selves. His selection of 14 films features new popular character making and communication tools such as Second Life, Face Swap, Snapchat, augmented reality and Virtual Reality.

With his installation Out of Controll he was Iceland’s contribution to the 57th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia

Every month, The One Minutes Foundation puts out a new series of 60-second films that investigate how we perceive and engage with moving image. Museums and cultural organisations around the world subscribe to the series.
